Euricse at the Trento Festival of Economics

The Festival of Economics returns in Trento from 25 to 28 May for its 18th edition, renewing the focus on economics and the major topics of national and international relevance. The event aims to spread economic culture through a widespread event throughout the city of Trento, actively involving stakeholders, enterprises, institutions, young people and families. It will also be an opportunity to reflect and debate on the guidelines for change through a rich calendar of meetings, events, talks and keynotes that will see the participation of opinion leaders, Nobel Prize winners and other illustrious guests from the academic, economic, social, cultural and political worlds.
In this year’s programme, Euricse is organising three thematic panels, promoting dialogue and discussion on topics of great relevance for a new model of sustainable development: the Social Economy, Energy Communities, and Shared Administration.

It will start on Saturday 27 May with the event "Social Economy and European Union Policies" (from 11:45 a.m. at ITAS Forum) moderated by our Secretary General Gianluca Salvatori.
Speakers are also Giuseppe Consoli, President of ITAS Mutua, Maurizio Gardini, President of Confcooperative, Sarah de Heusch, Director of Social Economy Europe, Antonella Noya, OECD LEED Programme.

On Sunday 28 May the spotlight will be on "New models of collaboration between the public and the Third Sector" (from 9.30 a.m. at Castello del Buonconsiglio, Sala Marangonerie).
Euricse director Riccardo Bodini will moderate the meeting, which will be attended by Daniela Ciaffi, sociologist active in Labsus, Daria de Pretis, vice-president of the Constitutional Court, Vanessa Pallucchi, spokesperson for the National Third Sector Forum, and Linda Laura Sabbadini, central director of ISTAT.

In the afternoon, for the "Economy of the Territories" format, the panel "Energy Communities put to the test" will continue (from 2.30 p.m. at Fondazione Caritro). Davide Tabarelli, founder and president of Nomisma Energia, will debate with Laura Borsieri, Head of Relations and Reporting, CEDIS Cooperativa Elettrica Storica, Sara Capuzzo, president of ènostra and Giacomo Cantarella, Business Development Manager at EPQ.

Euricse also collaborated with ITAS and Reale Mutua in the conception of the Mutualità Prize.
The initiative, aimed at Foundations, Mutual Societies, Associations, Cooperatives and Social Enterprises, makes available an amount of 100,000 euros to reward projects of a mutual nature that are considered particularly valid or innovative. The projects will be assessed by a committee of experts, including our Secretary General Gianluca Salvatori.
The winner will be announced on Friday 26 May (at 3.30 pm at Itas Assicurazioni - Sala Edo Benedetti), while the official award ceremony will be held in Rome on 30 May.
