Monday marks the start of the first application window, open until June 30. Then again from September 8 to October 23. €5 million allocated for 2025 and another €5 million for 2026
Applications will open for the revitalization of areas at risk of abandonment

Starting Monday, May 19, it will be possible to submit grant applications for the recovery and redevelopment of properties located in the 32 Trentino municipalities involved in the experimental project for the revitalization of geographical areas at risk of abandonment.
Maurizio Fugatti, President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Giovanni Gardelli, Director General of the Department of Urban Planning, Energy, Cadastre, Land Registry, and Territorial Cohesion, and Francesca Chemolli, Director of the Office for Incentive Policies and Urban Planning Simplification Actions, today illustrated the criteria of the measure and the application procedure at a press conference. Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the Citizen's Portal.
"This is a long-awaited moment, also due to the significant interest observed since the initiative's announcement, even outside provincial and national borders, as well as from the local administrations involved," stated President Fugatti. "The hope is that this interest will concretely translate into interventions that, starting from individual homes, generate greater social cohesion within the thirty-two identified municipalities. This is an experimental initiative, and we are open to evaluating adjustments and integrations. While provincial resources are being made available, a significant commitment is required from private individuals, not only financially," the President clarified.

For 2025, two application windows are scheduled: from May 19 to June 30, and from September 8 to October 23. Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the Citizen’s Portal at: https://www.provincia.tn.it/Servizi/Contributo-per-immobili-privati-rivitalizzazione-aree-rischio-abbandono.

The total budget amounts to €10 million (€5 million for 2025 and €5 million for 2026).

To assist citizens, a telephone help desk has been activated by the Office of Incentive Policies and Urban Planning Simplification (Via Mantova 67, Trento), available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at: +39 0461 492712. Email: recuperocentristorici@provincia.tn.it
