Takeaway food and drink allowed for outdoor consumption in compliance with safety rules
The President of the Province, Maurizio Fugatti, today signed a new ordinance, which provides for some changes in the measures introduced in Trentino to contain the Coronavirus. The most important and desired novelty, especially from the managers of bars, ice cream shops, pastry shops, restaurants and pizzerias, concerns the possibility of consuming drinks or take-away food outdoors, respecting distances and without forming gatherings. The mask must be re-worn immediately after consumption. It is not yet possible to place tables outside.
Yesterday, 48 new infections and 4 deaths from the Coronavirus were recorded. The downward trend in hospitalizations continues. There are 13 ICU patients, in addition to 116 people in other wards and 1,007 at home. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 4,954 people in Trentino have contracted Coronavirus, of which 2,861 have recovered or clinically recovered.
